Policy covers inpatient hospital expenses and outpatient surgical expenses incurred by an inmate including charges for:

• Physicians and surgeons
• Anesthesiologists, radiologists, nurses, etc.
• Diagnostic x-ray and laboratory services
• Medically necessary dressings, drugs, and medicines and the administration thereof
• Policy covers Emergency Room expenses if followed by a hospital admission

Policy covers the following:

• Medical conditions such as cancer, heart, kidney, diabetes
• Accidental injuries/fights
• Self-inflicted injuries/attempted suicide
• Injuries resulting from the capture of an escapee

No pre-existing condition exclusions

Optional coverage for: Aids/HIV; Substance abuse; Maternity; Mental & Nervous; Security & Guarding
